Residential Security Agent

Responsibilities

• Maintain a calm, professional security presence at a private residence or estate.
• Manage entry, visitors, deliveries, and service providers.
• Monitor the property and perimeter on patrol and through available systems.
• Follow the household's routines and the procedures set for the property.
• Report incidents, concerns, and changes promptly and accurately.
• Protect the privacy of the household and its guests.

Required qualifications

• Prior experience in residential, estate, or comparable on-site security.
• Attention to detail and a steady, observant approach.
• Discretion and courtesy with residents, guests, and staff.
• Ability to work independently at a post and as part of a team.

Preferred experience

• Experience with alarm, camera, and access-control systems.
• Training in first aid, CPR, or emergency response.
• Credentials suited to the assignment, such as a California BSIS Guard Card, or an equivalent from another jurisdiction.
