Executive Protection Agent

Responsibilities

• Provide close personal protection for principals at residences, offices, venues, and in transit.
• Plan and advance routes, venues, and itineraries with the protection team.
• Stay alert to changes around the principal and respond calmly and decisively.
• Coordinate with drivers, residential teams, and the operations center.
• Safeguard the privacy of the principal, their family, and their plans.
• Write accurate shift and incident reports.

Required qualifications

• Prior experience in executive protection, close protection, or a comparable security role.
• Sound judgment, composure under pressure, and a discreet, professional manner.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work within a team and follow established protocols.

Preferred experience

• Advance work and route planning experience.
• Training in first aid, CPR, or emergency medical response.
• Credentials suited to the assignment, such as a California BSIS Guard Card, or an equivalent from another jurisdiction.
• Firearm-related permits where an assignment calls for them.
